Lyndsay Marshall indexer

I am a Freelance Professional Indexer with accreditation from the Society of Indexers. I can produce back-of-the-book and embedded indexes, and I have worked for a range of authors and publishers.

I am a graduate in English and Cultural Studies (BA Hons, first class), and Information Analysis (MSc with distinction). I have a proven track-record adapting to material and terminology in a variety of fields, from the social sciences and humanities to engineering and medicine.

I live in Aberdeen in Scotland. I have worked as a Technical Author in the oil and gas industry, authoring and editing updates to management system documentation. I have also worked as a Research Assistant at the Robert Gordon University, specialising in information literacy and health information quality factors. Prior to that I trained as a librarian and had several information-based and administrative roles.
