This year, the Society of Indexers conference theme was ‘Human Indexing in a Digital World’. Held online, the conference took place on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 September. This blog post describes some key points I gleaned from the sessions I attended.
This blog post describes the Society of Indexers 2023 conference in Leeds. It begins by describing the pre-conference walking tour of Leeds, and then covers the day of the conference. I describe the sessions that I attended, and the session for newly qualified and student indexers which I led.

The Society of Indexers’ annual conference was held online for the first time on 9th and 10th November 2021. More than seventy indexers Zoomed in, including delegates from SI and sister organizations in Europe and North America. This post summarizes two of the conference highlights.
